- Defense won the day … again (not as dominant as they've been though)

- Klenakis and Kill showed emotion/energy during live sessions (think the offensive coaching staff will help this team a lot)

- Jeremiah Dillon made a heck of a grab towards the sideline

- Kam Johnson flashed today - had a nice catch and run

- Khordae Sydnor was brought up immediately by both Yilanan Outarra + Jovan Haye when I asked about who has stood out among the newcomers on the defensive line. Haye compared his skillset to Dayo Odeyingbo

- Scrimmage Saturday at Lipscomb Academy at 10am (give or take) -- I will be there

Former Mississippi State/Southeast Missouri head coach Rick Ray. I dealt with him a bit when I did some work at Blue Ribbon and I really like him.

I got on this kick watching old youtube clips from the 90s of high school football. Man we have had alot of talent in the mid state. I played briefly with Elliot Carson and Ryan Aulds, both played at Vanderbilt. I remember being a bench warmer at Lebanon seeing Riverdale players Alvin Duke, Fernando Bryant, Gerald Griffin. I also remember other really good players like Eric Gardner at Stratford, Eric Locke at Riverdale (last I heard he was working at a fast food restaurant, sad fall from grace after he played at Alabama and UT), OJ Childress at Macgavok, etc.
