I need a transfer commit

Or at least a solid rumor.

I know, I know, there are a million kids in the portal and like 4 of them have committed. There are tons of options out there and more will show up in the next couple of weeks. But I'm tired of hitting refresh 20 times a day. I don't want to pay for some discord so I can follow the burner account of an unknown insider Confession: I'm not even sure what a 'discord' is or how you access it, but at this point I'm willing to figure it out if it gives me a transfer portal fix.

I need info. Rumors. Dollars. Timelines. I neeeeeeeeeeed it.

Somebody give me a little hit of something concrete Vandy transfer portal related to get me through the day. I'm a mess.

On the OL

So - I am pained as most everyone else is to read about the deficiencies in the OL in yesterday’s scrimmage. Based on multiple reports it sounds like the IOL was the weakest link. While I certainly would never suggest that the OL will become a strength, here are a few reasons that I’m going to hold off on panic mode for now:

1) Klenakis is a pro. I think he will be able to develop some of these guys. The combination of Kill, Beck and Klenakis are going to figure out how to make some lemonade out of what they have. You have to count on that.

2) From reporting, virtually everything has changed in how the OL is practicing and the OL schemes. So, one would expect them to be pretty far behind the DL until they get more time in the new system.

3) Loisaga may have been the only IOL who played yesterday that will see the field next year. If healthy, Morgan is certainly a starter. Ketschek and Pitchford likely will play - none of those 3 played yesterday.

4) I assume that the coaches are currently auditioning all of the potential OTs. By Fall camp it is likely that at least one of the current OTs who is not going to start at OT will slide over to OG to get the best 5 guys on the field at once.

5) Plus, if they can get a starting OT in the portal this Spring, then they may be able to slide Hansen over to OG and he would immediately become the best IOL on the team. That would make a huge difference.

Just a few reasons to have a little hope IMO.

Question about OL transfer portal

Getting Grayson Morgan back will help but it is obvious we need transfers and I mean upperclassmen experienced top of the line G5 or multi year starting P5 OL. How many? Four? When can we get these commits spring transfer portal? With NIL does that essentially remove the 85 player scholarship limit as you can simply pay “preferred walkons” tuition etc?

There is no way the coaches are going to enter summer workouts without adding significantly to our OL room correct?

Football Stadium construction updates:

Has anyone from the AD given any updates on progress? Are there any forecasts on completions of various segments? I watch the live cameras daily because I'm an old retired fart with a VU engineering degree and sometimes nothing better to do. From what I've recently seen it seems like the new club house, locker rooms, and short game practice facilities at Vanderbilt Legends Club will finish 1st. There's a lot of Q-decking going in place now in the south end zone of the football stadium. Some pumping of concrete for decks should be following shortly. Work in the north end zone/Basketball Operations Center seems to be slowed; however, continuing work there may be out of view of the one live camera in place. I'm still not convinced that rapid completion of these projects is a HIGH priority due to the lack of weekend/overtime work. Please feel free to add anything you've seen, heard, or even rumors. It keeps me entertained.
