- Vanderbilt target Noah Fant told VandySports.com that he plans to make a decision in early July. His top schools are currently Nebraska, Iowa, UCLA, and Vanderbilt. Nebraska wants him at defensive end, and UCLA wants him as a tight end. Iowa and Vanderbilt are willing to let him choose what position that he wants to play. If he were to choose defense at Vanderbilt, he would be an outside linebacker. Most feel that he prefers the offensive side of the ball.
- Virginia defensive end Christian Brooks plans to visit Vanderbilt again in August. Vanderbilt impressed Brooks on his visit last month. Brooks is the former high school teammate of current Vanderbilt offensive lineman Justin Skule.

- Speaking of running back targets, Tre Bryant plans to visit Vanderbilt this weekend. Damarea Crockett plans to participate in Friday Night Lights next week, and Sam Brodner visited this past week. Vanderbilt is getting their running back targets on campus. It'll be interesting to see if they can secure a verbal from one of these prospects.
