Vanderbilt already has their on-campus camp schedule out, which you can find by clicking here. Their annual Friday Night Lights camp will be June 15th.
As we mentioned on the board previously, the coaching staff is hoping to have some targets in for official visits the weekend of FNL. We do know that Ralen Goforth and Zach Williams are already confirmed for OV's that weekend.
Some other potential OV candidates for FNL weekend include Jackson Hannah, Tymon Mitchell, Sua'ava Poti, Josh Foster. Remember, these are just our educated guesses.
We also know that Parkview (Ga.) safety target Malik Washington visited Vanderbilt earlier this month and feel he's one to keep an eye on. Stanford, Duke, Minnesota, Purdue, and Kentucky are other schools in the mix with him right now.
The Commodores coaching staff will also be involved in numerous satellite camps this summer as well, here is a breakdown of when and which coaches will be in attendance:
June 1st, Mercer: Marve, Mattioli, Norcross, Keith Jones (offensive grad assistant)
June 7th, Texas Southern: Moorehead, Mattioli, Norcross
June 9th, Northwestern: Brown, Moorehead, Norcross
June 9th, Samford: Marve, Gdowski, Jones
June 9th, Rice: Mattioli, Ah You
June 10th, Southern Cal: Mason, Ah You, Brown, Norcross
June 10th, Memphis: Gdowski, Jones
June 16th, Texas A&M Commerce: Norcross
Also, a reminder that the incoming freshman class will report to campus on June 4th. We're hoping to catch up with a handful of the 2018 class and see how they've prepared in anticipation of becoming student athletes at Vanderbilt.
