I talked with Christian Brothers (Mo.) running back Tre Bryant, who was just recently offered by the Commodores. Despite not knowing too much about Vanderbilt at the moment, he is excited about the offer and does plan to visit sometime this summer and learn more about the program.
Tight ends coach Gerry Gdowski has been his main recruiter on the staff. He also has offers from Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, UNLV, Syracuse, Indiana, Northwestern, and others.
The 3-star prospect has already visited Kansas, Kansas State, Indiana, and Missouri during the spring. Along with Vanderbilt, he also has summer visit dates set up with Syracuse, UNLV, and a return trip to Indiana.
Bryant said college coaches like his lateral quickness and balance along with his playmaking abilities and his ability to pass block as well.
