Arkansas, Auburn, and Kentucky all had huge blow out wins of high school teams last week. They all got lots of love on SEC nation this morning. And all three of them look like they're going to lose today.

Hopefully, there's one more joining that club tonight in North Carolina. 😁

Pavia voice radio ads on Spanish radio. Pavia videos targeted to Spanish speakers on social media in Nashville.

$10 tickets include vouchers for three Coronas. Taco trucks inside and outside the Bank, locally owned and operated by Nashville hispanics. $1 street tacos. Local mariachi bands hired to play "Dynamite" and other entertainment at tailgates and during game. Everyone makes money including the trucks who get a flat rate paid by Vandy. All students and kids get Diego Pavia tshirts.

Tremendous fun for everyone including great marketing for local Hispanic owned businesses.

random Virginia Tech podcasts on YouTube talk about the game last Saturday. I've laughed and laughed watching them talk about their experience in Nashville. I hope we do that to a few more fanbases this year.

Dari, Stinchcomb, and Randall Cobb were breaking down the win over VT, and Dari commented how VU teams in the past would have been done as soon as VT took the lead in the 4th quarter. Stinchcomb then pointed out that the team has over 50 new players, including players that came from winning programs like NMST or winning high school programs. He noted that the new players haven't experienced the history of Vandy folding in the face of adversity so there wasn't necessarily a feeling among those players of "here we go again." Instead, they just did what they knew to do, which was just power through the adversity and win.

That's a lot of speculation on their part, but I think there is some truth to it.

If the anticipated rout is on early, do you pull Pavia at halftime, end of the third quarter, or after one series in the fourth?

Long time Vandy fan here. My grandpa and I had season tickets to Basketball and Football games 1996-2010. Made the move to Vegas in 2011. Really want to go to a game this year at First Bank, but financially can't make it happen. It's a goal of mine to get my son to a live Vandy game. Definitely going to make it happen next year. It’s been a great week. I enjoyed the stadium vibe and enjoyed the win.

Now It’s time to get after Alcorn State. I want to see a Vandy team completely focused this coming Saturday. I want to see a team that performs to its full capabilities with no letdowns in any area of the gameplan.

That kind of effort would provide me with some real hope for the season.
