Looking at the football stadium, I am excited about seeing games with decreased capacity. We have a real chance to have majority Vanderbilt fans again.

We used him with kid gloves all season in what seemed like saving him for the postseason only to not even use him a single time in the regionals. I have a lot of questions right now.

Raymond becomes commit #2 from the weekend

Disappointing finish, for sure, but I went into this season with pretty low expectations relative to our baseball program's state. I believe I said before the season here that didn't think we had much of a chance making it past the regionals. This just wasn't your typical Vanderbilt Corbin team with superstars. We have one, EBjr, who if he goes dead cold, well, you see. So, to me versus my expectations, if anything Corbin got every amount of juice from this team and more. If anything, it was a strong performance by him and I think the future is really bright for this program. You just can't have superior talent every single year.

Winner gets Oregon on Sunday evening.

Corbs has to move on from Baxter. It’s the same crap every year. This team has to rank near the top of the sec in weak contact. This is not a good hitting team and it hasn’t been since 2019.

I’ll admit it: I didn’t want CSL as AD. I don’t think that’s a minority view point either. I just viewed her as a Kirkland mouthpiece.

But since she has taken over, massive renovation projects for the 3 big Vandy sports have been announced. And all the projects going on look awesome. It’s not only her involved in the process. I’m sure there are countless people to thank (her, Diermier, @Southernpipe, and others).

I’ve watched the video released yesterday and I’m truly in awe by those renderings. I don’t think they could have done better. And I truly enjoy that they’re basically taking 3 buildings and transforming them into one large athletics hub.

The green monster seats were just the cherry on top. I need season tickets there. Can’t wait to see this all come together.

We’ve waited and waited and waited for these days to come. And it appears those days are finally arriving. Exciting times for sure.

Feel oddly good about our chances of coming out of the losers bracket and winning the regional? We are better than Oregon. A lot of breaks went their way last night and they won by one run. We haven’t used up a ton of pitching to this point. If we get through Xavier, I think we win the regional.
