Who would you start as pitcher on Tuesday???

My hypotheticals are usually way off base, but I enjoy discussions and different view points. That being said I've wondered what would be the best use of pitchers for the VandyBoys mid week game this week?

First of all I want to save JD Thompson for the Georgia series this coming weekend. We sure needed him this past weekend. Maybe we should give Sam Hliboki the start against Tennessee Tech. Sam had a great outing his last time on the mound against ut Martin. I'm thinking maybe David Horn and Luke Guth as middle relief, and Brennan Seiber as a closer (restrict Seiber to 2 or less innings because we will need him available at UGA).

What do you guys think? Are Horn, Guth, Kranzler, and Huesman all healthy? What's happened to Sawyer Hawks? And what's the current status for Ethan McElvain? He was in the dugout this past weekend and even snagged a couple of foul balls, but I never saw him in the bullpen.

PS: Does anyone know what the extent of the injury to Jayden Davis is after being hit in the face by a MSU pitcher Saturday afternoon? Is he in concussion protocol or something else? Will he be OK sometime soon? We all wish him a big "GET WELL SOON !!!"

Espinal the best VU catcher since?

Espinal's Ks can still be a little frustrating, but he's done a heck of a job this year and been the most valuable player in the lineup alongside Vastine. He really should have been the primary catcher all of last year, too, as he outproduced Bulger at the plate last year, too, and is night and day better as a defender. The homers this weekend got me trying to remember Vanderbilt's last catcher who was better, and I can't think of one. I didn't follow the baseball team as closely 10+ years ago as I do now, so maybe there was one before that? Since then, Keegan was a better hitter but average at best behind the plate, and I could see an argument that Rodriguez was a better fielder, but he didn't have much of a bat.

The change in language continues concerning NIL. They can't give it and need Anchor Impact to do that but they are Absolutely raising/ encouraging people to give to Anchor Impact in addition to or sometimes INSTEAD of other initiatives like Vandy United or the NCC.

It was a great interview.

Things have changed in our favor. Finally.
