That was 3 really really good starts. I’d have to look but that’s might be , just from a starting pitching standpoint , the best anyone has pitched against TN in a three game series. And of course Futrell was great today in a RP roll but I think of him as a starter. VU easily could have swept this weekend , evey game really came down to just a play here and there for both teams.

As I’ve said in some other posts if VU had just average hitting (and they hit into a lot of bad luck that last inning yesterday) and road defense was better than it has been, all this whining and complaining would mostly be non existent.

And all the posts about Corbs (and this comment doesn’t change if VU had of got stomped this weekend) changing or whatever. I just shake my head. It’s amazing to me both fans unrealistic expectations and if they have all the answers why aren’t they coaching and making millions and winning nattys every 2/3 yrs. Evaluate the team I’m fine with but man. I hope Corbs wants to coach another 10 yrs and if so I sure hope that is at Vanderbilt. It would go down if it wasn’t him.

This is the starters from the opening game last year compared to what we think it will be next year. Big difference.

Sorry to interrupt a day with so many other important things going on but I can’t help myself!

I was a season ticket holder for years. I used to walk to the stadium. I was there when we were relegated. I was there when we were promoted. As I sat in Dall’Ara for the last time a few days before we left the country I looked at my friend and told him if Bologna ever plays a Champions League match I’ll be there.

I never thought I have to find a way to keep that promise.

Kornet, Garland, Nesmith all having nice playoff performances.

People have said the bats are doctored. Chris Lee says he knows it but will not report it. If they are so certainly doctored how do the pass compression test. How are they allowed to be used. Other than just saying oh they for sure are but I can't say I'd love to know more details.

And for the record I 100% believe they are. The exit velos off some of these hits exceed the highest records in the mlb. Ut us using 5 year old bats. That matters.

What a gut punch. 11th seed out of 12 teams if the season ended today, at least according to SEC Network. When was the last time that happened? In CTC's early years when they made the SEC tourney for the first time in forever?

16 year old from Nashville made the cut & is in the Top-25 in the PGA tour alt event this week. Really impressive. I think I read somewhere that his mom played basketball at VU. Wonder if he ends up a Commodore.

I am a huge fan, but I have long been very impressed by both the knowledge of our team and baseball in general by many on this site. My question to you all is what has been the biggest surprise about our season to date. And I ask obviously assuming no one expected it to be this bad. Thanks.
