Stinchcomb then pointed out that the team has over 50 new players, including players that came from winning programs like NMST or winning high school programs. He noted that the new players haven't experienced the history of Vandy folding in the face of adversity so there wasn't necessarily a feeling among those players of "here we go again." Instead, they just did what they knew to do, which was just power through the adversity and win.
That's a lot of speculation on their part, but I think there is some truth to it.
