Haven’t watched yet: any reason why Lewis only got 4 minutes? I’ve given up trying to figure Thomas’ minutes, but Lewis’ lack of opportunity surprised me.

These 2 players likely hold something of a key for next season. Are they role players? Breakout players? Big surprise players? Benchwarmers?

Dia is a big presence and Shelby can shoot. What can we expect from them next season?

Maybe I'm missing it, but sweeping the reigning national champions to start SEC play apparently doesn't rate a mention on their site. Plenty about LSU, and they gave NC State love for winning 1 from 3. But nothing about Vandy.

The game went differently than the one vs. Yale, but I think the roster takeaways are almost the same from both games.
1. Ezra and Tyrin continue to play at an elite level
2. Colin Smith continues to show some things
3. The team falls off after that. Jordan does all the little things and would be a great glue guy 5th starter but this team needs that 3rd guy
4. They got out-rebounded by 17 again. Q can hang for a while, but Dort and Dia are clearly a ways away. Unless Dort has a huge off-season they need to consider other options cause it will get hard losing the boards every game
5. Nothing different to say about Trey. There won’t be any excuses for him being out there so much next year when guys like Lewis and Shelby if he’s here aren’t freshman anymore

Kid basically handled Penn State by himself tonight to send Texas to the Sweet 16. Went off for 28. I’ll forever be upset that he left, but I’m happy the kid is getting to experience stuff like this in the big dance. Impressive player, good for him.

I know it has been said that Vanderbilt has shown interest in him since he entered the portal, but I have been doing a little digging and it seems like he recently started following Stack and Andy Fox on Twitter. Doesn’t appear at this time that he’s done anything similar with other coaching staffs. He’s being courted by a ton of high majors, but he would be an absolutely huge addition to this team. Can rebound at a high level and would be a great option to go with Tyrin and Ezra. Averaged 18.8 ppg and 8.5 rpg at Harvard this year. Is there any word on him and how interested he may be?
