He was horrible on the offense side of the ball today. However on the defensive side he was great. When they put him on Dickinson he basically shut him down and help to win the game.
I finally got my all access to work so I could look in at Rupp Rafters briefly, and while there I saw someone forward a tweet about this shirt. The Rupp folks presumed it was a Texas A&M shirt and corrected the post but it wasn't. It was Alabama fans re the murders. I will post the tweet I saw at UK and then the articles clarifying more about it.
First the tweet I saw at UK forums that some there argued might be Texas A&M (but it turns out it's definitely Alabama):
Not big men. Think @tcstephenson and I talked about this a while ago. Arizona had two great big men but went down to Princeton, and Purdue is gonna lose to Farleigh despite having Edey
In his post game interview said “the timing was off” and that Stute wanted play on the next level—wanted to play on the perimeter, be a facilitator and ball handler and that wasn’t going to happen here especially with Colin.
I’m one ticket short for the basketball game if anyone has an extra that’s going unused. No big deal, I know there will be plenty available, just thought I’d check.
The selection committee should be ashamed for not putting the Dores in the dance. VU beat MSU, Auburn, Arkansas, UT and UK (twice). I know no one is listening but I am so pissed off.
Perenial Flops! I remember many years ago in Pontiac. We had good seats and witnessed the loss to Kansas. But we'd come all that way and wanted to attend the regional final on Sunday. Purdue had Kansas State in the nightcap and assumed they'd win. So PU fans with shitty seats kept coming into our section (no idea where the stewards were) demanding we give up our seats for the second game and sell them to them for Sunday. "You suck. You lost, You HAVE to sell us your tickets!!!"
Watching them lose to Unibrow Lon Kruger made me very happy that night. Still enjoy it when they flame out.
Games going according to seeding thus far (winners Baylor, Xavier, Michigan State). Pitt, however, is leading Iowa State 19-2 in the first half. Iowa State without a field goal in the first 8 minutes.
After a spring trip to TCU, Oliver has an official visit locked in with the Horned Frogs
n.rivals.com
Mostly focused around his recent visit with TCU, who seems to have the early edge right now as he's already scheduled a summer official with the Horned Frogs. Oliver is planning to return to Vanderbilt on March 30th and will check out plenty of other schools as well.
