NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Vanderbilt football program completed a historic signing class on Wednesday. Nikhil Jefferson signed a letter of intent to join the Commodores, completing the class.
The 2024 signing class is the first in school history to include four four-star prospects per 247Sports. For a complete look at the class, visit Signing Day Central.
Tight end Brycen Coleman, safety Dontae Carter, wide receiver Joseph McVay and athlete Witt Edwards all received four-star ratings from 247Sports, topping Vanderbilt’s previous mark of three which last occurred in 2022.
Carter is one of five members of the signing class who has enrolled early at Vanderbilt and will be with the Commodores for spring practice. He is joined by edges Simeon Boulware, Callahan Blair and Mason Carter and defensive back Alvin Williamson Jr.
The five early enrollees are joined by 11 transfer student-athletes who are new to the roster for spring ball. Vanderbilt’s transfer class is rated in the top-40 nationally by 247Sports and includes four-star quarterback Nate Johnson.
