I have been out of the country and haven't read the board in a while, so pardon me if this has been discussed ad nauseam. Assuming we survive (as in physically survive) LSU, there is a very doable path to 6 wins.
It starts by winning all three remaining non-conference games. Certainly far from guaranteed with this team, but should happen.
Then we go 3-2 against Tennessee, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Mizzou and USC-e. 10 years ago that would seem absurd, but recent history proves it to be far from impossible. For all of his short comings CDM's teams tend to get better as the season goes along and none of those teams are world beaters this year. I see 2 wins coming out of that group, if we can sneak up and get a 3rd suddenly we back into another bowl game.
Where we more than likely will get plastered.
