A few notes to pass along from yesterday and last night
- Talked with Rankl last night, who I would classify as a top tier target for the Commodores. He obviously talks with Rossomando the most, but said he practically talks with the entire staff as well. He recently had a Facetime conversation with Coach Mason and said Nashville is a must visit for him once those are allowed. He is scheduled to take a virtual visit with Vanderbilt this weekend as well. He mentioned Arizona State, Pitt, Duke, Iowa State, and Purdue as other schools that are involved. He recently made it to Purdue and has visited Pitt previously as well.
- Vanderbilt made the Top 6 for the North Hardin (Ky.) running back target. Wright visited Vanderbilt back in January for a junior day. However, a couple of Futurecasts have been put in for West Virginia and they appear to be favorite.
- Rossomando extended a couple of new offers yesterday to offensive linemen Ethan Onianwa and Logan Nobles. Both are underrated prospects and Vanderbilt is the first SEC offer for both as well. In the case of Nobles, he has nearly 20 offers from various group of five programs and Ivy League schools - Kansas is his other lone power five offer. With Onianwa, he has multiple Ivy League offers and notable group of five offers from Arkansas State and SMU.
