Just a few notes on some early Vanderbilt targets for the 2016 class:
Bishop Moore (Fla.) defensive tackle Josh Keeler is up to nine offers after his latest from Air Force. Rivals has gave him a 3-star, 5.5 rating which is relatively new. We still think Keeler could be one of the first targets to commit for the '16 class.
GAC (Ga.) offensive tackle Devin Cochran has seen his recruiting process pick up quite a bit lately with offers from Georgia, Northwestern, and Duke. He intends to visit Vanderbilt March 21st for the spring game.
Robinson (Ark.) running back T.J. Hammonds has added several notable offers in the past couple of weeks. Arizona, Arizona State, Duke, Oklahoma State, TCU, and Arkansas have each extended offers. Some schools want to see him work out at either RB or WR, but Vanderbilt likes him at running back.
On a local note, East Nashville CB/S DeVarius Cortner picked up an offer from Chattanooga yesterday. He also has an offer from Mercer. He's a prospect that is intriguing because size-wise, he's what Vanderbilt likes in the secondary. If he camps at West End this summer and puts in a good performance, his recruiting process could pick up.
