With portal recruiting dying down the Vandy coaches are out on the recruiting trail and a lot of new offers are being reported.
Today it seems that Coaches Larry Brown and Jovan Haye have gotten their offers out to the c/o 2026 and they’ve been eye opening. It seems as if Haye and Brown believe we are operating at a higher standard than before because every offer is a for 4 star player or higher. I will be interested in seeing whether we can translate the success (and maybe more notably the publicity) of last season into real recruiting wins.
Haye and Brown are very good recruiters but these are blue chip guys at premium positions who will be pursued aggressively by many blue bloods. This will be a good litmus test to see if we’re ready to play with the big boys.
