"Jam the Gym $1 Game - Buy Tickets to Donate to New Fans
The Vanderbilt women's game against Florida on Sunday, Jan. 29 at Memorial Gym will be the Commodores' annual Jam the Gym game. All tickets for the contest are just $1. Hot dogs and drinks will also be sold for $1.
Fans who can't make the game can help grow a new generation of Commodore Nation by purchasing tickets that will be donated in their name to local Nashville non-profit groups. Call the ticket office at 615-322-GOLD, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am till 5:00 pm.
The day will include a Kids Zone -- featuring inflatables, a poster-making station and a face-painting station -- in the practice gym before the game.
Diversity and Inclusion Weekend January 28-29
The Vanderbilt men's and women's basketball teams are recognizing Diversity and Inclusion on the Vanderbilt campus and throughout the Nashville Community. To celebrate, there will be a Diversity and Inclusion Fair prior to each game. Use your ticket to that day's game to access the Fair.
The event celebrates diversity by inviting and highlighting organizations -- both on campus and throughout the community -- to participate in an educational fair during which students and fans can learn about the various groups and organizations. The fair will open at 1:30 pm on Saturday, January 28 prior to the Iowa State men's game with a 3 pm tip-off and at 12:30 pm prior to the Florida women's game with a 2 pm tip on Sunday, January 29.
