Congrats to Those that Stayed the Course

To the ones that never stopped going to the games, never jumped ship, never started rooting for other teams just because things didn’t go our way.

To the stalwarts that hung in there, no matter how much we complained our how frustrated we got, this one’s for you.

Kudos to Lee and staff for making the adjustments many of us were begging for—hitting the transfer portal harder, bringing in some better coaches/coordinators, better game day management, etc. May have taken longer than some us wanted, but I have always said he is a learning creature and hopefully he has figured some things out permanently

BOWL-BOUND!! ANCHOR DOWN!

Need 6 or 7 for South Carolina

Yep, it's time. My last time at the Dud was against South Carolina in 2018, so, coming back against them just feels right. I said that I wouldn't be back until we had a well coached team, and we definitely have that this year.

Me, girlfriend, and kids (ages 21-29) are wanting to come help our Dores barbeque some chicken on West End!!

Tennessee Court of Appeals Unanimously Rules Vanderbilt > Auburn

In the postdivorce case of Brinton v. Brinton, the father agreed in his divorce to pay for his children’s college expenses. His daughter received nearly a full scholarship to Auburn but turned it down to attend Vanderbilt. The father refused to pay, arguing that it was “unreasonable” to decline a nearly full scholarship at Auburn in favor of no scholarship at Vanderbilt. The daughter explained she chose Vanderbilt over Auburn because she wanted to attend “a really good school."

The trial court awarded the mother $96,055 for the principal balance owed, $28,783 for prejudgment interest, and $14,570 for attorney's fees, for a total judgment of $139,407. Father appealed.

The Court of Appeals held that the decision to forgo a nearly full scholarship at Auburn to attend Vanderbilt was reasonable. On appeal, the mother was awarded her attorney’s fees.

Thus, we have a judicial determination that Vanderbilt is vastly superior to Auburn.

SEC and fake injuries

It won't stop it completely but why not just pass a rule that any injury that stops play keeps you out till a change of possession, not just a single play.
