ASU Goes Down

AZ State loss is good for us. They are currently last 4 in. No opportunity for their record to get better, while we just have ourselves a lift. Doesn’t necessarily hurt their resume, but gives us comparative upside/an argument to steal that bid after today’s win.

Currently watching Utah State vs Boise State. Utah State also currently last 4 in. Same argument carries if they lose.

As another poster pointed out in a different thread, we now have to worry about the stray auto bid stealer that gives an assumed 1 bid conference an auto + potential at large.

On bracketologists

Look folks. Just like @Chris Lee , just like I came up with, all these bracketologists have a formula. And they plug in the teams numbers. That is why VU Is still not showing and that is why after every game Lunardi and others have movement.

I don’t think the committee picks with formulas but maybe I’m wrong or at least not 100%. There will be subjectives I hope.

If not most formula the NET ranking and predictive numbers will bring VU down. I almost guarantee you that’s what’s happening.

Look. VU is better than KY. If you want the 38 best at large it’s impossible to leave out VU

Especially compared to most of these SEC teams.

I’m mean they just beat KY at KY and KY in “neutral” court both without Robbins. And the game today they led the entire 2nd half.

If there is 5% of subjective thoughts how could VU be left out. There is no way. Won 10 of last 11. 4 Q one wins in that stretch. And beat the one team they lost too on a neutral court to show that loss was just one of those games.
