I’ll be in Nashville this weekend for the Patriots-Titans game. I was hoping to double dip with a Vandy home game, but the schedule didn’t line up. Does anyone have any good recommendations for sports bars in Nashville with Vandy ties? Nashville has changed so much since I graduated in 2013 and I don’t know the landscape nearly as well as I used to.

If there’s any interest, I would be game for meeting up with Vandy fans somewhere to watch the Vandy Auburn game. I came down for the Hawaii game last year and had an incredible time in Lot 2. It was the best tailgating experience I’ve had at Vandy

I bought tickets for my son and I to make our annual trip to Nashville to see the basketball team. Of the available seats, I picked C2 - we only go once a year and skipped it last year, so why not? It looks to be pretty close to the court. Any views on how easy it is to see the game from that vantage?

Texas seemed much better prepared than Bama. They did not overlook Vanderbilt, and put in the work. They had an answer for everything we threw at them in the first half.

Thankfully, our guys adjusted well beginning second half, and made a game of it. I was impressed with the amount of pressure we generated, and getting the run game going.

I think Vanderbilt will catch at least one other ranked team overlooking. Hopefully it’s TN.

Auburn -5.5 is honestly one of the most absurd lines I’ve ever seen.

Since NIL and the ability for a player to transfer immediately, I have lost my excitement of getting a high schooler to commit. If it is hard to get his commitment and he shows indecision by committing and decommitting several times, most likely will leave after a year

Anyone have extras?

Discussions about uniforms are typically beyond my interest. However, I saw the Commander's black unis and loved the design. I am interested in what some of you on the site think. No one has ever called me a fashion maven. I wear a black henley and jeans 6 out of 7 days a week post-retirement, so I don't have to think about what I will wear. It saves me time. Anyway, here's a link to the Commander's black uniforms—obviously, burgundy trim is unnecessary.

Could this turn out to be the biggest game of the season. Vandy wins we go to 6-3 and can relax about bowl eligible. Auburn is no push over and has been playing very well and will be prepared for the Vandy offense after last year and NMState.
I'm just hoping this don't turn out to be a bad spot for the Dores after the Texas game and the close loss. We win and 2 of the next 3 games are at home and we keep riding the high horse.
We lose and as lifelong fan I fear the worst will happen and 6 wins will be tough to get.
