Seems like of an obvious cliché but I doubt we'll ever really embrace that as fans and this ephemeral "we have turned the corner and great things head" after a single win or "worst game ever we suck" after a loss isn't going any where but also doesn't really make sense to me.
My point though is we will have better games ahead of us, this season. We will have losses ahead of us, this season. What strikes me as much more important is trying to gauge where the program is moving on an overall level. We are better than last year, for certain, although last year was a complete disaster and failure. Are we moving to where we want to be next year and beyond? I honestly do not know but just Missouri or just Houston doesn't really help at all to answer that, at least IMO.
