Things have been hectic for all of us, some are transitioning, others are feeling more like theirselves with their assigned fan message board at birth.
With that said, I would like to get to know the new members. Who TF are you? How did you become a fan? Explain your username?
I’ll start:
I’m @Friedas_Boss and I started message boarding in 1999 when I graduated from college. Don and Karen Yates brought me into this world at Vandymania as @VUNutInYaMouth. I was banned about a month into that Skin and became @CrazyVandyFan. After I pissed off well over half of our fanbase, I transitioned to my current Skin.
Born at VUMC and raised in Memorial Gym. I probably attended close to 15 basketball camps in Memorial and due to getting in trouble, had to run every step in that gym on 2 separate occasions. I think the coaches thought it was funny, but the joke was on them, I actually liked it. Summers in Memorial, winter and spring in Memorial!
My username is inspired by the movie Fletch, which if you haven’t seen it, we can’t be friends. If you’d like to be friends, please start by watching the movie, Fletch and then Fletch Lives (not required but appreciated nonetheless).
Skipping around but I’m a fan because my dad, my uncle, and my stepdad all graduated from VU so naturally, we went to football games in the fall, basketball games in the winter and no baseball in the spring (although I did attend a few baseball camps with Roy Mewbourne).
