We have this thread from time to time, it's always fun for me to both read others and explore mine. Here are some. I'll number them but they aren't really rank ordered.
1. Kenny Simon, totally bubbled over with charisma. Was just a superior athlete who kept being placed between positions
2. Lew Thomas, I wish everyone on here could have seen him when he was healthy. I think he may have been the single most talented player I have ever seen at VU. He could start on any team at any time when healthy. He made SEC defenders look stupid.
3. Sam Chalmers, mostly because his beast mode was better than anyone else's best mode but also because I used to sit next to him in class and he laughed at how spazzy I was. He was so chill off the field and so ferocious on the field.
4. Bill Marinangel, mostly because we hung out with him a bunch for three years at VU, but also because he was a great athlete and made Alabama look stupid on his absurdly long fake punt TD, escorted by Jamie Ducan I think.
5. Corey Chavous, both what he did on the field and what he does off the field for VU.
