As the baseball season continues to unfold, I get the sense that I am seeing something I don't think I can remember ever seeing before with Vandy baseball. This team does not have a single player that would be called a "star". I don't think any player, so far at least, would be considered an outstanding All-SEC type player. A couple pitchers might be, but an outstanding starter goes more than 5 or 6 innings. I feel like Sawyer Hawks is our best player right now, but it is hard to think of a long relief guy as a "star". Anyone feel differently or have any thoughts which might make me feel better?
Where are the stars?
