I had actually fallen in with the rest of you. I thought that the Kill, Beck and Pavia train had fixed this team. And, they fixed half of it. The offense did more than enough to win this game.
But, it somehow made me forget that our HC was still our HC, and unfortunately, also our DC. That defense is pathetic. And, I knew it. I knew that we only had two SEC calibre players on defense (CJ Taylor and Patterson), and one of them changed positions. I knew that Lea tried to fix our secondary with scrub corners from lower level football. I knew it before the season started. I KNEW BETTER, damnit.
But, I too got caught up in the hype. Stupid me was actually thinking about going to the Mizzou or Kentucky road games. Then Lea and Vanderbilt Lucy'ed me once again. What an idiot I am, for falling for it another time.
