This season, VU has experience so many injuries. Alabama or Georgia has one injury to an edge guy or a running back and expectations are if they lose the next game the reason is clear.

About 1/2 of VU's defense was out last night! 10 players total were out or questionable and several were in and out during the game in Columbia. UM the #7 team, at home, had only two player out.

If VU had the two corners they signed at the beginning of the season, they would easily be 4-0.

What if you were given the asignment to integrate +50 (# of new VU FB players) new employees into your company. As the CEO (head coach) you will be responsible for taking a demotion and taking the jobs of your friends up and down the organization. All this while the new employees are being paid huge bonuses, but the legacy employees get little or no increase in salary. What do you think that work environment would be like?

While you're at it, replace most of the company's top leadership (new coaches).

On top of that, do it in one of the most corrupt, woke environments in all corporate America (Vanderbilt Athletic Department).

With all the limitations put on Clark Lea (great communicator, defensive specialist, hometown boy, Vanderbilt alumni) this season, +60K fans last night in Columbia, MO knew who had the best team (Sitting on the 50 yardline, I heard what they said and watched them leave before the game was over).

With all the obstacles Clark Lea has navigated, he should be awarded the NCAA Coach-of-the-Year for the first quarter of the season.

Going to a bowl game this season will be totally dependent on injury. If a miracle happens and Vanderbilt can get some of the injured back, limit more injuries, this team will be bowl bound.

Clark is a special coach and this is a special team.
