VU pitchers working on a no-hitter. Ferguson struck out 1 and walked 5 in one official inning, as he walked 3 batters to start the second and was then pulled. Sad. Feel bad for him, but he has clearly lost it. By comparison, Johnson has struck out 9 and walked 0 in 5 innings of work.
Vanderbilt runners struggling to sty on bases when they slide, as there have been two, possibly three, runners thrown out yesterday and today because they slide past the bases.
Johnson's night is done. All he did was set down all 15 batters he faced, including 9 by strike out. What a performance.
