Toffey had a bases loaded double in the 1st, driving in 3 runs; Swanson doubled in two runs in the 2nd; Georgia got 2 runs in the bottom of the 2nd on a 2-run homerun.

Toffey bloops a single in the 5th to score Swanson, to give VU a 6-2 lead. All 6 of Vanderbilt's runs have scored with 2 outs. Fulmer has had some rockets hit off him, but has also made the pitches when he has needed them to get either a big strike out or a twin-killing.

Well, that was an absolutely hilarious play if you are a VU fan. With two outs, Swanson laces a single to right to knock in one run. As the ball is thrown into the 2nd baseman, he whirls to throw the ball, tries to hang on to it instead, and ends up throwing it straight into the ground, bouncing its way between the pitcher's mound and first, and Coleman comes around to score. As he is scoring, the throw comes into home, but is nowhere near the plate, it gets away, and Swanson comes in to score.

So, all 9 VU runs so far this game have come with 2 outs. Impressive.
