Vanderbilt missed a huge opportunity to get some additional runs in the 2nd. Rogers led off with a double, and Ellison reached on a bunt single, putting runners on the corners with 0 outs. Unfortunately, Campbell, Reynolds and Wiseman followed with strike outs.

Fulmer escaped a bases loaded jam in the 2nd inning by getting a strike out. Pitch count is already at 42 after just two innings, with only 19 of those pitches being strikes.
