VU-Belmont thread; bruins win 3-2; Sheffield the losing pitcher

2 singles and a batsman beaned in the head have given the Bruins a great opportunity to get up early.

However, great fight back by Kilichowski, as he gets a strike out, a fly ball to short center field, and a little flare that Swanson makes a nice running catch on, so the Bruins do not score. Relief corps, please take note.

VU goes quickly and quietly in the first: Coleman strikes out sort of swinging, Swanson flies out, and Reynolds watches strike 3 go by. No score after 1.
