Or #VandyBoys for Christmas Week, for those of you celebrating.
Preseason Rank
Let's start with Collegiate Baseball, who posted their Very Early Top 40 (plus extras). Despite the fact that CB tries very hard to make this look like a poll (adding points and "Received Votes"), it is not a poll, but is believed to literally be one guy ranking. In any case, I think he's actually over-ranked us a bit. Here's the ranked, of note:
1. Florida
2. Louisville
3. Vanderbilt
4. Miami (FL)
5. Texas A&M
7. Louisiana State
9. Virginia
10. UCLA
11. Mississippi State
15. Texas Christian
23. Michigan
24. Arkansas
25. Oklahoma State
29. Kentucky
34. Missouri
35. South Carolina
40. Texas
RV. Southern Cal, Stanford, Auburn, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, San Diego, Radford, Lipscomb
Overranked as I think we might be (I'd put us in the 5-10 range), I do know we can expect to be Top 5 when D1 produces their ranking, based on the perceived strength of our 6 potential starting pitchers (Wright, Bowden, JJK, Sheff, Day and Everett).
