Vanderbilt is showing interest in Cosby (Va.) 2017 athlete Joe Hunt, the 6-foot-4, 218-pound prospect plays running back and is also a safety/linebacker for his school. He ran for 1,227 yards on offense and recorded 34 tackles, five sacks, and two interceptions on defense.
Hunt told me that he's been in contact with tight ends coach Gerry Gdowski and said he's planning to visit around March 3rd. Here is what he had to say about Vanderbilt:
"I know a little bit about the school, one of my best friends Drew Birchmeier is playing there next year and I've always been interested in the university and the football program. It's an awesome school and definitely pushes the limits football wise, but it's an amazing program."
