First off, I want to say that the rain did make it tough and kinda took some energy away from the crowd and game. We lucked out by getting a 3 hour window of no, or very little, rain and got to enjoy a fun game.
My guess as to total Vandy fans is 15,000.
My guess as to total Ga Tech Fans is 20,000.
Didn’t see total announced attendance but I’d say there was another 2-4,000 non VU or GT fans just there watching the game.
I was a little disappointed in our crowd, thought we’d have more fans there. I was also a little disappointed in the energy of our crowd. It was very much a wine a cheese crowd, didn’t make much noise when we were in defense.
I thought Ga Tech’s crowd was much bigger and significantly louder.
Did anybody feel the same way?
