Per a really connected source on campus this morning, VU still has not come to a decision on what to do about fall classes. It keeps discussing a “hybrid” model with the faculty, which presumably means that some will be in person and some online.
I think there was supposed to be a decision by the BOT on this this week but unless it happened this afternoon, I guess that’s still in limbo. I think my source would have called if that’s the case.
If they don’t have in-person classes, my source thinks they won’t play football this fall. When I pressed my source on whether there will be football, the answer was “yes,” but it’s far from certain.
Anyway, I guess that’s kind of a no-news update but wanted you to know what I’m hearing.
