(10:36 am): According to Josh Suchomel over at OrangeBloods.com, Texas coaches will visit with Christian Jones this morning and Vanderbilt is scheduled to have an in-home with him tonight. According to Suchomel, Jones will then decide where he will visit this weekend based off of today's meeting with both staffs. He is down to Cal, Texas, and Vanderbilt.

(10:02 am): Here's the latest on the recruiting trail...

- We've mentioned former Washington State commit and 3-star CB Erick Hallett last week as a prospect that was scheduled to officially visit Vanderbilt this weekend. We're hearing that won't happen now. Hallett took an official visit to Pittsburgh this past weekend and received an offer from the Panthers and it looks that's where he'll end up.

With Hallett now apparently out of the picture, look for the Commodores to possibly extend an offer to Bridges "BJ" Anderson (who visited Vanderbilt this past weekend) to fill the final CB spot or perhaps dip into the grad transfer market.

- Regarding JUCO QB target Jack Colletto, who is scheduled to announce his commitment on Friday at 4 pm (CST), early indications are that he'll likely choose to be closer to family and end up at Oregon State. Considering the depth chart at OSU, he also has a better chance of playing right away there.

- Here is the latest on CB commit Rayshad Williams, who is fresh off an official visit to UCLA. We've been told that as of now, he isn't planning to visit anywhere this weekend and he has told the coaching staff at Vanderbilt that he intends to sign with them on NSD. Vanderbilt will have a big in-home visit with Williams on Thursday that will include a large group of coaches.
