This myth exists mostly because the SEC Network guys, primarily Chris Burke, keep saying it.
Obviously, none of them did their homework. (This does not surprise me about Burke as he went to UT and likely, as an athlete, never had any homework.)

In SEC games only, stats are:
vs. LHP .300
vs. RHP .307
Do you see any pattern? Do you see a discernible difference?
