We're coming off 3 hard losses. We need to win this game not only to get back on track but to avoid a psychological melt down. This is a good, not great, football team. They very easily could finish 7-5 maybe even 8-4. But loose to OM prior to a bye week and doubts creep into players AND coaches heads and with the bye they fester. The slope of the hill to climb becomes significantly more steep. All the metrics in the world can't help a football team with self doubt. Forget the line this is a winnable game and CDM gets to demonstrate his bona fides this week. And trust me he knows the stakes better than any of us for this game.
