Going into the season, we all thought Pinkney was going to have a great year. He's big, athletic, and pretty fast for a TE. Dobbs and Marcus, while not in Pinkney's class, were thought to be pretty good too.
Through six games, their stats aren't great. With Pinkney leading the way, I was thinking it would be much better than this.
Pinkney: 11 catches , 135 yards, 2 td's
Dobbs: 2-22-0
Marcus: 4-17-1
That's right, the totals for six games are
17 catches for 174 yds and 3 td's. Not exactly what I was expecting from this position. Not even close.
So, @FlyDore03 ,@JustinAngel , or some of you other knowledgeable football guys, did we overestimate this position or is there another reason for the lack of production from an area we thought would cause matchup problems?
