While it is mostly gloom and doom regarding our football team, and understandably so, we should take note of some stars in the making. Elijah McAlister, Jaylen Mahoney, and Tae Daley all have a great chance at stardom if they keep their heads on straight and work hard. Dimitri Moore might be a star if had any help at ILB. Our DL has a chance to be the best in years next year with Langham, Green, Davis, Reitmaier, and Butler, in addition to Tidd and Birchmeier who are serviceable. Punting looks solid with Smith who should only improve.
On offense I don't see any stars on the horizon except Johnson and he'll be wasted without a qb. Getting a qb who can make plays will make everyone around him better. Look at how inept Missouri has become without a qb.
