This morning I spoke with a guy in my church who played football for GA. He came up to me and apologized for the beat down his guys gave us. It was all in jest but he did mention how silent our staff was during the game which he thought was odd being how badly we played. He said we needed a “spit thrower” in the locker room. So I asked him if he believed it is up to the coaches to fire the team up or is it on the players. He said it isn’t high school so players know they need to be fired up but coaches know they need to fire up their guys both before and during the game. He asked if we had a spit thrower coach in the locker room because he just saw silence on the sidelines. He mentioned how even players at UGA liked franklins fire when he was there. WE NNED A SPIT THROWER
