Only 2 games today but both are big and impact Vandy.

Arkansas is chasing us in RPI and is close. If they lose today they are no longer close can’t catch us.
They, along with Texas, are the only 2 teams whose total metrics rival Vandy’s.

LSU can’t win the RPI race but they on the edge of being a Top 8 seed (probably #6 or #7 depending on which projections you like best.). I lose to A&M they may drop out of the Top 8. Their overall metrics are not stellar plus 40% of their total games were played against Quad 4 teams, all them in Baton Rouge. Plus, A&M’s metrics are atrocious and they must win the SECT in order to make into the NCAAT or go home for good. Lots on incentive there.

Ole Miss is battling several other teams for what is likely last SEC team to be a regional host. They battling UTjr and Florida for that host spot, and to a lesser degree, Alabama. A win today against Arkansas will push all their metrics much higher. They are already tied with Texas most Quad 1 wins.

The OM-Arkie game has started. From watching the top of the 1st one might think Arkie is mailing it in.
With their #1 pitcher on the mound, SEC POY at shortstop, and CK at 2nd, they trail 5-0 after 2 errors Aloy and a 3 run HR off Root.
If they go 1-2-3 in the 1st we might assume just want to go home and rest.

NOTE: This post is also a test of Brain Theory. I read that most people, when reading a passage that contains a lot of “little” words left out, have no problem reading the passage because their brain automatically fills in the missing words and it all makes sense to them. They don’t even notice the missing words.
We’ll see if that’s true not.
