We're 30% of the way through the SEC schedule and, at this point, here's how it looks.

SEC East

Kentucky is the best team; 3 series wins; solid pitching; great offense. Still must play SC, FL, LSU so we'll see if this holds up.

SC and FL are next. SC has a better record than FL but has played easier teams (UT/Bama, 2 worst teams.) Both have lost series to Auburn. FL lacks much hitting but has 3 stellar starters. and won a series with LSU.

Vandy comes next. 2 series losses on the road. Tough series just ahead @SC and FL at home. Chance to move up, not much chance of falling down much.

Mizzou comes next. Swept Bama but lost series to AK and FL, both at home.

Georgia is next. Horrible team but they won the series with UT. Could overtake MO next weekend.

Tennessee is last and worst in the entire conference. Currently 1-8 and go to FL next weekend.

SEC West

Auburn and Arkansas on top, both with 3 series wins. Auburn has taken both SC and FL so they get the nod as the best. Arkansas has played an easier schedule and gets LSU at home this week.

Mississippi State is next with 2 series sweeps (UT and @Ole Miss) but got swept by Arkansas. They get Kentucky at home this week so we'll see how that goes.

LSU is next. Swept Georgia (big deal) but lost series to A&M at home and Florida on the road. They go to Arkansas next weekend.

A&M barely edges out Ole Miss next, mainly because they have tons of freshmen and started out getting swept by Kentucky at home and lost series to Vandy on the road but then went to LSU for a series win. They entertain Auburn this week so they could move up a lot quickly.

Ole Miss getting swept at home by Miss State after a home series win and road series loss drops them slightly below A&M. They'll get right this week as Bama comes to Oxford.

Bama is the worst of the west, 3 series losses and swept by Missouri although they did manage a win each against SC and Arkansas.

Overall

Kentucky and Auburn tie as the overall best.

UT is the absolute worst.

Vandy is in the 7-8 range of the 14 teams.

As of now, 6 teams would host a regional -- Kentucky, South Carolina, Florida, Auburn, Arkansas, Mississippi State. Vandy and LSU on the outside looking in. 10-11 teams would make the NCAAT.

UT, Georgia and Bama fighting to see who will not make the SECT. My money is on UT not going and a toss-up between GA and Bama.
