Ole Miss gets the last host site.
SEC gets Vandy, State, Georgia, Arkansas, LSU, and Ole Miss.
This makes me think the Selection Committee put a lot of stock in the tournament finals.
This leads me to think we may turn out to be the #1 seed after all.
We are 27-7 against the SEC, easily the toughest conference in the nation. The PAC12 is the 4th toughest. We beat every team in the SEC at least once. Our final RPI edges out UCLA. We have 27 wins against Top 50 teams and 17 wins against Top 25 teams. Our SOS is much better than UCLA's.
Their advantage is they didn't lose a series all year, and we lost 2 series on the road to A&M and Georgia.
BTW, with respect to RPI, Ole Miss finished at #22 and A&M finished at #15. It's not as important as some people think it is. #14, 17, 18, 19 are also not hosting, but #20 is.
