***A majority of Vanderbilt's commitments will begin their senior seasons this week. You can watch OLB commit Griffin Lampton and his St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.) squad take on De La Salle (Calif.) tonight on ESPNU at 8:30 p.m. CST. WR target Logan Loya will also be in action on Saturday on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. CST as St. John's Bosco (Calif.) hosts DeMatha (Md.).

***Speaking of high school football season, for the past two weeks I've attended a few scrimmages around Nashville and caught up with some Vanderbilt underclassmen targets, which you can read at the links below:

Antwan Roberts
Jordan Dingle
Fisher Anderson
Jason Amsler
Elijah Herring
Javon Nelson

***I'm keeping it kind of low-key this weekend and staying in Bowling Green, KY to cover the Rafferty's Bowl on Saturday night where 2021 TE target Jordan Dingle will be in action along with Kentucky WR commit Jordan Watkins, three-star safety DeVito Tisdale, and 2021 athlete Jantzen Dunn.

***A reminder - Chad Simmons dropped a big update on Callaway (Ga.) WR target Jacob Freeman earlier this week. It will be interesting to see if the flirtation from Nebraska continues, but it sounds like the three-star prospect is contemplating a commitment to Vanderbilt. If Freeman jumps into Vandy's class, that will fill up the WR spots.

***Reggie Grimes has been ruled eligible to play his senior season at Ravenwood. I commend the TSSAA for actually getting that decision right. Grimes also announced that he is pushing back his commitment to Thanksgiving. He was originally suppose to announce on November 2nd. As we've previously mentioned, it's currently a three-team race for the top-rated, in-state prospect with Vanderbilt, South Carolina, and Tennessee in the mix. Grimes visited Vanderbilt back in April for the NFL Draft event and again in July for the BBQ.

***The Commodores are expected to host some top underclassmen targets for their home opener against Georgia next week. We'll have a more in-depth list later next week, but the likes of TJ Bollers, Javon Nelson, Elijah Herring, and Jason Amsler are a few that are expected.
