I assume everyone is still basking in the Vanderbilt win over Arkansas on Saturday. Here are a few quick updates to start out the week.

- Still awaiting a public announcement, but expecting Bapst to be the next Vanderbilt commitment to join the class. He visited the weekend of the Florida game and the coaching staff likes him as an offensive tackle. Obviously, he'll have to intake a few calories but given his frame there is confidence Bapst can do it.

- Expect to start seeing some JUCO prospects pop up on Vanderbilt's radar as well. One that we've talked to that said he's had communications with the staff is Tay Gowan out of Butler County (Kan.) C.C. Gowan is originally from Newton (Ga.) high school and committed and signed with Miami of Ohio out of high school before going the JUCO route. He's a mid-year enrollee prospect and is also hearing from Virginia Tech and TCU as well.

- Grad transfer is another avenue where Vanderbilt was successful in adding a couple of key pieces to their roster last year and will look to do the same again this year. Former Auburn tight end Jalen Harris is one the staff is communicating with currently. Harris only caught four passes during his career at Auburn, but was used mainly as a blocker on offense and in special teams as well. He will be a mid-year enrollee.
