-We are now 0-4 in games where we played really good teams on the road. All but the very best few teams in the country would have the exact same record (at Mizzou, Bama, OU, and Florida).
-Edwards continues to be our constant offensively. He’s fun to watch. He got 13 shots tonight, that’s not enough. He can get to 25-30 most nights and I think it’s time to increase his load. I’d run a few more sets for him each game if it was me.
-Mañon has hit a brick wall, Huffman has hit a brick wall, and Nickel had his second straight complete no show game. These guys are better players at home and I expect all three to get it going Saturday.
-Tyler Tanner has to make a decision that he’s going to increase his scoring. It’s that simple, he has to work his way through this funk. The effort on defense, and his ability in the pick and roll are there every night. I am really excited to see him with a bigger role after Hoggard graduates.
-2nd straight game our really good road opponent went lights out from 3 in the 2nd half (7-10 tonight for the gators). Brutal.
-I’m sick of shitty refs, once again we got the short end of the whistle. It didn’t cost us the game but it cost us a chance at a damn close game down the stretch and opportunity to win. This is getting old but college refs just suck.
-This is why I keep harping on winning at Memorial, it’s too tough out there not to. Don’t make it optional, go get it Saturday.
-Hopefully the boys get some good reps this week and shoot UT out of the gym Saturday.
-Get tickets to this game Saturday if you can!
