on the last Notre Dame punt when we had almost zero time left we didn’t make their punter feel rushed so he boomed it deep.
While I want to avoid touching the punter and penalties, there are ways to make the punter rush his punt by making a real attempt to get closer to him without touching him at all.
We really don’t try to block punts or field goals or extra points either.
Zach Cunningham was a monster, though, a couple of years back - (although this acrobatically timed jump is not actually the type of more normal block or rush I am suggesting we aspire to) -
