I am not sure that Vanderbilt players are any worse than most other teams when it comes to players whining about calls or no-calls. But they can do better. Players must realize that on nearly every possession, multiple fouls will occur. Some might be called; most will not. Watching games, it is almost impossible to determine why an official called a foul this time and not the next. There were over 50 fouls called this game and as one the commentators said, it could have easily been over 80. So, until those in charge of administering the game and enforcing the rules make a serious effort to return the game to something that resembles basketball, players have got to just accept that in many cases, there is no rhyme or reason in the way in which fouls are called.
