Off topic OT - The Athletic - failing

Apparently they are using the WNBA model (hemorrhage money) without a parent company subsidizing their terribleness.

I have to admit, I never understood their model or how they would make it work financially but I’m even shocked to hear they haven’t turned a profit yet.

I know a lot of you love it though.

Any thoughts?
